![]() ![]() ![]() Instead of sending me a 150" screen, they sent me a MUCH larger piece of fabric so that I could angle and cut it myself. ![]() Everything sounded fine until the screen arrived. ![]() He said 3" was already included so he just added an extra inch to each side. I told him I did not want to have the Precision Cut and I just wanted the 150" size screen with 4" of extra on each side to attach to the screen. So when I got ready to place the order, I found out the guy I had been working with was on vacation and the guy that took my order and payment wasn't typically the one placing orders. From what I found online and speaking with him, they have never had an issue with moire but the precision cut just helps guarantee that you will never experience moire. During my conversations with the sales rep, I asked if he recommended the "Precision Cut" which is where they angle the screen to help prevent moire. The seymour screen fabric arrived yesterday but apparently there was a mis-communication in my order. With the projector mounted in the back wall and not mounted upside down, will that change anything? Can the projector still aligned near the top of the screen? I remember when I originally installed the AE3000u, in order for the Zoom Memory feature to work properly, I found online that I needed to mount the projector no higher than the top of the screen or I would have to angle the projector downwards and adjust the keystone. The Panasonic AE3000u does have lens shift but wouldn't it be best to try and get the projector mounted in the center of the wall?Īnother question I have is in regards to projector height. Looks like the center of the projector aligns where the hall closet and my son's closet meet so there will be several studs we will need to cut through. The rear of my HT butts up to my son's closet and a hall closet. the plan is to cut out a spot in the back wall for the projector to sit in. In order to achieve a 140" screen, the projector needs to be moved back to the rear wall. My first questions are in regards to projector placement. Room Dimensions: 13' x 19' with 10' ceilings. My current false wall was designed around the RF-83 so in order to accommodate the wider LaScalas, I have decided to redesign the entire front wall and make some upgrades in the process. I liked them so much, I purchased a third Klipsch LaScala and sold my trusty RF-83 / RC-64 front soundstage. Recently, I purchased a pair of Klipsch LaScalas and was blown away at the clarity and dynamics compared to my Klipsch RF-83 / RC-64. My HT 1.0 was built around a Klipsch Reference System consisting of RF-83 mains, RC-64 center, RS-62ii side surrounds and RS-62ii back surrounds. Many, many thanks to all of you for your help and suggestions during my first HT build. Lots of changes in gear and speaker configurations as well as a TON of high quality photos that I documented in my HT 1.0 Build. I am excited to begin Youthman's Home Theater 2.0! I have been enjoying my HT now for a few years.
